This Living Thing by Danzell j. Franklin

As I glanced upon this living thing
That has many connections
Without using any strings
But all that is connected
Leads to a lot of green
But money isn't wat I mean
The green im using has a life
Because the green is a living thing
That also changes colors
And is connected to mother nature dreams

Also I've notice this living thing stands tall and high
And watches over its peers like a mother bird watching its nest
High within the sky
But this living thing can't fly
It can't walk
It can't talk
But sure enough it can die
And deep within the cool swift breeze from the wind
U can hear the living thing softly cry
Because the world we all live in is slowly about 2 die
If u actually listen to ur environment
U'll understand that this living thing could never lie
Cause a lie is only in human nature

This living thing can also bleed
But not blood but in fact a nutritious liquid
that we decide to use when we feed
And without a mouth
This living thing eats non-living things
Which means
It makes its own food
And doesn't complain cause
it is what it favors
It is what the living thing is obligated to choose
And we take its life away

Now your asking yourself
What can this be?
What is this living thing?
That I've once glanced upon that I've actually seen
Well This living thing which I've glance upon is actually
A living tree
It had all these hidden features
that only a creative eye can really see
